Dunstglas
“Dunstglas” is a collaboration between the band YENGA and the Bochum-based light art duo scheinzeitmenschen.
In it’s center is a sculpture that plays with states of matter and the mutual interaction of different materials: solid acrylic glass shaped into flowing forms creates two hollow bodies. Inside these acrylic structures, neon tubes glow, their plasma responding to musical impulses—at times appearing like a rigid rod, at times seeming to flow, at times to ripple…
Light and music form a symbiosis
Merge with the venue, and invite the audience to immerse themselves in the space of light and sound. The band plays the light, the light plays the band.
